Ra's al Ghul is an immortal warlord and the leader of the League of Assassins. He is the on/off enemy of Batman. He serves as the main antagonist of the Injustice 2 prequel comics as well as a major antagonist in the Injustice animated movie.

Biography[]

The leader of the League of Assassins, made immortal by the power of the Lazarus Pits, Ra's al Ghul is an ancient warlord who purifies cities and empires by utterly destroying them as they reach the apex of their corruption. He's the father of Talia and Nyssa, and the grandfather of Damian Wayne and Athanasia.

Role in Injustice[]

Ra's al Ghul appears in Black Adam's ending, as he forces Kahndaq's king to an alliance in exchange of letting him reanimate his deceased wife Isis in the Lazarus Pits. Together, they proceed to conquer the world.

In the prequel comic of Injustice 2, Ra's al Ghul is the main antagonist. He teamed up with numerous superheroes and supervillains to save the world from ecological destruction, using the fall of the One Earth Regime as an opportunity to rise from power.

Powers and abilities[]

Ra's al Ghul is one of the planet's finest tacticians and combatants, an expert martial artist and swordsman forged by thousands of battles and centuries of experience. Thanks to the Lazarus Pits, he can heal from virtually any wound, including lethal ones, and he can rejuvenate himself, thus being immune from old age and any illness.

  • In the comics, Ra's al Ghul is the leader of the League of Assassins, who has attempted to kill humanity and Batman's greatest enemy after the Joker.
  • Ra's also serves as the narrator of the Injustice 2 announcement trailer (as the narrator mentions "entering the pit and emerging reborn"), voiced by Bryan Cranston.
