Mister Mxyzptlk is a longtime nuisance and adversary of Superman, using his omnipotent reality-bending powers to test, tease, and annoy the Man of Steel.
Biography[]
Mister Mxyzptlk is a reality manipulating imp from the 5th Dimension who antagonizes Superman. Not actually evil, he does no long-term damage, although he constantly seeks to pester and prove he's smarter than the man of steel. He cannot be made to return to his home dimension until he's tricked into saying his own name backward, "Kltpzyxm."
Injustice Comic[]
Prior to Year Three, Mister Mxyzptlk fought Jim Corrigan and defeated him, placing a spell on the man to drive him insane before claiming the mantle of the Spectre for himself. Mxy began impersonating the Spectre to protect Superman from magical threats, killing anyone he deems too great a threat.
When the imp finally discards his disguise, he easily brings down a rampaging Trigon inside the Tower of Fate with a single blast. A grinning Mxy holds a smoking cigar as he tells the felled demon lord, "Leave my Superman alone".
Later on with the help of Billy Batson, Doctor Fate uses Shazam's lightning to redirect it towards both Trigon and Mister Mxyzptlk, who were fighting so much that reality is tearing apart, transporting the two powerful beings elsewhere and ending their battle.
Powers and Abilities[]
Mister Mxyzptlk is an imp who hails from the fifth dimension and possesses reality-warping powers on the highest scale known. Because his existence does not follow the same laws of the Injustice universe's three-dimensional universe, he can easily bend, alter, and change it to his whim, often for his own amusement. Mxy can manifest his reality-warping powers in several ways, ranging from annoying tricks to powerful attacks even capable of felling Trigon the Terrible with little effort. Mxy is so powerful, he has defeated and impersonated the Spectre.

Mister Mxyzptlk takes the appearance of a large-headed short man dressed in a purple suit and bowler hat.
