Livewire is a minor antagonist of NetherRealm Studios' Injustice franchise.
She is an electricity manipulating supervillain and enemy of Superman.
Biography[]
Shock-jock Leslie Willis hated Superman, and her radio show in which she spouted her disdain for the Man of Steel was a massive hit. She organized a celebrational concert in Centennial Park, but Superman came in to shut it down due to an upcoming lightning storm. Both she and Superman were hit by lightning. The shock-jock was in far worse shape than the superhero and was rushed to the hospital. There, she found herself transformed into a chalk-white electrokinetic. Declaring herself "Livewire", Leslie decided to use her new power to seek revenge on Superman, whom she blamed for her condition.

Year Four[]
Livewire appears briefly as a prisoner of the underwater Regime prison, Challenger Deep. Due to her inherit superpowers, she is kept in a sealed prison cell in the basement. Until Plastic Man frees her when he stages a prison break in an attempt to free his son. With Mirror Master's belt, Plastic Man and every prisoner escape to the Mirror Dimension, but before he releases them back into the world he attempts to convince the villains to focus their attention towards Superman's One Earth Regime.
Year Five[]
Following the destruction of Challenger Deep, Superman and the Regime begin a manhunt on all escaped prisoners. The Flash confronts a large group of prisoners in Metropolis, who fight and defeat him, however they all surrender immediately when Superman arrives. The two are then ambushed with the arrival of Doomsday. Enraged further, Superman hits Doomsday away, but before he pursues Doomsday, he turns to Livewire with his eyes glowing red and threatens her not to escape. Livewire simply responds "Wouldn't dream of it, love."
