Klarion the Witch Boy is a young adventurer and highly skilled magical user.
Klarion the Witch-Boy is a young adventurer and magic-user. Born in the underground Limbo Town, he is a member of a divergent human race descended from the pilgrims. Despite his immense power, he is childish and naive. His familiar is an intelligent cat named Teekl who can communicate with him.
Klarion debuts in the third chapter of Year Three along with his familiar, Teekl. Klarion is among the gathered Insurgents brought to Jason Blood's home. Klarion sits on the floor during the discussion, petting his familiar Teekl, until the cat senses something approaching after Harvey Bullock opens the front doors, breaking a seal which shortly allows both Bullock and Blood to be killed by the approaching presence.
In the next chapter, Klarion uses his link with Teekl and sends the cat outside the house, where Klarion learns it is the Spectre attacking them. While Batman distracts the Spirit of Vengeance, Klarion asks Zatanna to save Teekl before she teleports him and the rest of the group back to the Tower of Fate.
In chapter five, Klarion appears in one of the many halls of the Tower of Fate as John Constantine reassures his daughter that Detective Chimp will be fine, Klarion retorts dryly, "Nope. He's almost dead. I can feel it." Constantine snaps at him to do something and Klarion mockingly asks, "You want me and my cat to go in there and help the magician, the butler, and the pyschopathic clown to save the talking detective monkey?"
Constantine tells him yes before asking if he has a problem with that. Klarion happily heads off while replying, "No. I just wanted to say that sentence out loud." The Witch Boy calls his familiar after him as they head off to help Detective Chimp.
In chapter seven, after having Teekl trick Raven into believing she has partially regained her freedom, Klarion confirms to Constantine that Raven's astral form has left the building where they bound her. As the two prepare to move her body, Klarion asks Constantine if he believes his plan will work. after Constantine expresses his doubts, Klarion also notes his surprise that Batman allowed them to do this, with Constantine quickly revealing the Dark Knight is unaware of their actions.
As Klarion and John lift Raven's body, the Witch Boy asks Constantine how he knows he is okay with their actions and Constantine reminds him of his status as a necromancer and that he's not worried about the morality of someone who plays with corpses. Klarion simply responds, "Yeah. Fair enough."
