Gotham City is the home of Batman, Catwoman, Joker, Harley Quinn, Bane, Nightwing, and Robin. It is a Stage in Injustice: Gods Among Us.
Injustice Comic
The comic begins in Gotham with Batman overlooking the city, noting how quiet it has become, but only because of Superman's iron-fisted Regime. Gotham is featured in Chapter Fourteen, and again in Seventeen.
Arenas
Alley
In the far left, Gadget Users can pick up and throw a steel tank from the Ace Chemicals truck, while Power Users can break open the tank, causing acid to spill out. In the center-left, there is a dumpster. Gadget Users can slide it into opponents, while Power Users smash it into the ground, destroying it. At the far right, there are two neon signs. Both can be grabbed by aerial characters and thrown. The large "HOTEL" sign is grabbed by Power Users, while the smaller arrow sign is grabbed by Gadget Users. Directly beneath the neon signs is a fire hydrant. Power Users will pick it up and smash it, while Gadget Users will open it and cause water to fly out.
By launching your opponent into the Ace Chemicals truck, you will transition into the Rooftop arena.
Rooftop
At the far left, the Bat Signal can be picked up and thrown by Power Users and used to evade opponents by Gadget Users. In the center-left, the air conditioner can be picked up and smashed by Power Users and used to evade opponents by Gadget Users. In the center of the arena, players can knock each other into the helicopter hovering nearby. In the far right, Gadget Users can destroy the foundations of the water tower causing it to fall. Power Users can also topple the water tower by jumping and interacting with the tank itself.
By launching your opponent into the right wall, you will transition into the Alley arena.
Trivia
- An Ace Chemicals Truck appears as an Interactive Object. The Ace Chemicals facility was where Batman first encountered the Joker.
- This stage was one of 5 from the crossover game, MK VS DCU, to be redesigned by NRS for Injustice: Gods Among Us.
- If the player performs a Clash Sequence on the Rooftop, there will be a blackout, but all the lights will come back on momentarily.
