George Young Newbern is a voice actor in Injustice: Gods Among Us (2013) and Injustice 2 (2017), providing the voice of Superman in both. A veteran of the DCAU, Newbern inherited the role of Superman from Tim Daly, voicing the character in Justice League (2001-2004) and Justice League Unlimited (2004-2006), as well as Static Shock (2000-2004) and the non-DCAU series, The Batman (2004-2008). He also voiced Superman in the DC Universe Animated Original films Superman/Shazam!: The Return of Black Adam (2010) and Superman vs. The Elite (2012). He also voiced Jacob Feely in Batman: Gotham Knight.
Outside of the DCU, Newbern has had many roles in TV shows, video games, and movies, including Charlie in Scandal (2012-2018), Bryan MacKenzie in Father of the Bride and Father of the Bride Part II, and Sephiroth in Kingdom Hearts II (2006).
